MONICA ROJAS

RN BSN, NASM CPT

I graduated from Pittsburg State University with my Bachelors degree in Nursing in spring of 2020. I’ve always had a passion for helping people and nursing seemed like a perfect fit. While working at KU Med Center in the Organ Transplant Unit I realized that my real passion was in preventative health rather than a clinical setting. I realized that I’d been happiest when working on my own fitness journey through college- I knew how rewarding it was to shed unwanted pounds and gain confidence, and I wanted to help others feel that same way. It’s not easy to give up on something you spent 4 years of time and tuition on, but I KNOW this is what I’m called to do. I continue to work part-time as a home health nurse helping children with disabilities as it brings me special joy.

From my experiences in a clinical setting AND my own life, it is increasingly evident to me that health is about more than just physical appearance. Health of the mind, body and soul are all interconnected and equally important. My goal as a coach isn’t just to help people get the physical results they strive for but to become healthier in all aspects of their lives. I believe that if you put your mind to something, anything is possible. There’s no reason to sit back and wait for the perfect time in your life to be your happiest and healthiest you- take a leap and I’ll help you get there!

"Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from the physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open." -B.K.S lyeneger
